BASIC BISCUIT RECIPE

BASIC BISCUIT RECIPE

Ingredients

  1. 1Kg Cake Flour
  2. 500g Margarine
  3. 500g Castor Sugar
  4. 25ml (tablespoons) baking powder
  5. 10 ml (2teaspoons) salt

Preparation

  • Sift the dry ingredients, except sugar, together into a mixing bowl.
  • Cream the margarine and sugar in another bowl until light and floppy.
  • Add the egg to the creamed mixture, one by one, beating well after each addition.
  • Fold in the dry ingredients and mix well
  • Roll the dough out to a thickness of 5 mm on a lightly surface and press out biscuits with a cutter.
  • Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180*c for 10minutes
