BASIC BISCUIT RECIPE
Ingredients
- 1Kg Cake Flour
- 500g Margarine
- 500g Castor Sugar
- 25ml (tablespoons) baking powder
- 10 ml (2teaspoons) salt
Preparation
- Sift the dry ingredients, except sugar, together into a mixing bowl.
- Cream the margarine and sugar in another bowl until light and floppy.
- Add the egg to the creamed mixture, one by one, beating well after each addition.
- Fold in the dry ingredients and mix well
- Roll the dough out to a thickness of 5 mm on a lightly surface and press out biscuits with a cutter.
- Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180*c for 10minutes
